In one scene in episode 21, she tried to get him to cooperate in the tag team battles by praising his skills, but he got mad and yelled at her, which caused her to hate him for the rest of the episode. Gumita had a neutral relationship with Suoh, as she refereed his battle with Ranjiro when the latter got his new Bey. During the Battleship Cruise, she, along with Tobisuke and Naru Akabane, stowed away on the ship so that they could cheer on Ranjiro and Aiger, respectively. Gumita is good friends with Ranjiro, and has supported him since the day they formed the Wild Bey Gang.
Gumita appeared in Aiger Akabane's thoughts as he was recalling the people who supported him.
